Commercial Scope

The work we bid

We focus on the projects a lean, experienced shop does best: tenant spaces where clean scope, fast submittals and a dependable field lead matter more than a large crew.

01

Retail Fit-Outs

Dollar-store, auto-parts and big-box remodels: relamps and new LED strips, checkout and power-pole circuits, RTU reconnects, show-window and sales-floor power.

02

Restaurant & QSR Build-Outs

New services and panelboards, kitchen-equipment and hood connections, walk-in coolers, drive-thru and menu-board site conduit, built to brand specs and national-account requirements.

03

Tenant Improvements

Office, medical-office and service-business spaces: demo and make-safe, branch circuits, lighting and controls, data rough-in and final connections.

04

Service, Panels & Feeders

Service and panel changes, feeders, disconnects and equipment connections for RTUs, water heaters and process equipment.

05

Lighting Retrofits & Controls

LED retrofits, exterior wall packs and pole heads, emergency and exit lighting, occupancy sensors and contactor/time-clock controls.

06

Energy Management Installs

Owner-furnished EMS and building-automation installs: dedicated circuits, CT and meter wiring, network and BACnet/Modbus trunks, contactor load wiring and commissioning support.

Why GCs Use IES

No scope gaps. No surprises at buyout.

  • Every note on every sheet is read before anything is counted or priced, electrical and non-electrical alike.
  • Conflicts between drawings, specs and responsibility schedules go back to you as written RFIs, not hidden assumptions.
  • Material is priced from real supplier quotes, not guesses.
  • Proposals list scope, exclusions, clarifications and alternates line by line, so you can level bids fast.
  • Owner-operated: the person who prices your job is the person who runs it in the field.
Union labor when the job calls for it. As an IBEW Local 613 signatory contractor, IES can staff up with union electricians for larger or prevailing-wage work.

Common questions

How do I add IES to our bid list?

Send your invitation or plan link to plans@ieservicesatl.com, or call (678) 940-3383. We're glad to complete your subcontractor prequalification forms.

What size projects do you bid?

Our sweet spot is tenant fit-outs and remodels, typically in the $25,000 to $200,000 electrical range. Larger work is considered case by case, including union-staffed jobs.

Do you handle owner-furnished and national-account equipment?

Yes. We regularly price jobs where the owner furnishes gear, fixtures, controls or EMS equipment, and we coordinate with national-account vendors on what is furnished and what is installed.

Do you do fire alarm or low-voltage cabling?

We provide conduit, boxes and pull strings for low-voltage systems and power to fire alarm panels. Fire alarm design and low-voltage cabling are typically excluded or priced through a licensed specialty partner.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance?

Yes. A certificate naming your company as certificate holder or additional insured is available on request.
